Fair housing
Equal housing opportunity, without exception.
We provide the same standard of professional service to every client and applicant.
Our policy
Nuri Realty complies with the federal Fair Housing Act, the Georgia Fair Housing Law, and all applicable local ordinances. We do not discriminate in the sale, rental, financing, or advertising of housing on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, familial status, or national origin, or on any other basis protected by state or local law.
What this means in practice
- Identical screening criteria are applied to every rental applicant and disclosed up front.
- We do not steer clients toward or away from neighborhoods based on protected characteristics.
- We do not answer questions about the demographics of a neighborhood; we point to objective public data sources instead.
- Reasonable accommodations and modifications for people with disabilities are supported, including assistance animals.
- Our advertising language and imagery are reviewed for compliance.
If you believe you've been discriminated against
You can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov, or with the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity. You may also contact our qualifying broker directly so we can investigate.
